RevivedLocal is run by Gary Vogt Consulting, a sole proprietorship in Orangevale, California ("RevivedLocal", "we", "us"). This policy covers revivedlocal.com, the customer portal at app.revivedlocal.com, the Monitor pages we publish for you, and the services we sell: the AI Visibility Monitor, the SEO Crew, Full Service SEO and websites.
Checkout runs on Stripe. You give us the website you want measured and, if you choose, your kind of business. Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number and billing details, and passes them to us with a record of the payment. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's checkout may also ask whether you want marketing email from us, and we record your answer. If you agree to receive text messages from us, we keep your phone number and that consent.
To run the AI Visibility Monitor we read the public pages of your website, the public pages AI assistants cite when they answer questions about businesses like yours, and your public Google listing. We ask AI assistants questions about your business and your kind of business and keep their answers word for word. This is information about your business, not about you personally.
If you are on a monthly plan, we also work with what you give us access to or send us: your Google Analytics and Search Console data, your website, your listings, and the logos, photos, documents, recordings and article feedback you send. We keep a record of the changes we make for you.
You sign in with a link sent to your email, so we never store a password. The portal keeps your email address, the business you belong to, the messages and suggested changes you send, the files you upload, and your Monitor results. When we open your account to help you, the portal records that we did.
If you allow it, our pages use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages were viewed, roughly where the visit came from, and the kind of device. Whatever you choose, we keep a record of that choice. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, times and browser types. See Cookies and browser storage.
We find local businesses from public sources, such as their websites and public listings, and from business contact databases. We may measure a business's public pages before we write to it. We keep the business name, website, the business contact details we used, what we measured, and our emails and your replies. If you would rather not hear from us, reply and say so, use the unsubscribe link, or email info@revivedlocal.com, and we will stop.
We share information only with the companies that help us run RevivedLocal, and only what each one needs.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, with our professional advisers, or with a buyer if RevivedLocal is ever sold, who would have to keep this policy's promises.
Gary Vogt Consulting, doing business as RevivedLocal, sends text messages to customers who opt in: account notifications, service updates, and, if you agree to them, promotional offers.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
The Monitor asks AI assistants the questions your customers ask and records the answers exactly as they came back. Those answers are the assistants' words, not ours, and they can include things the assistants found about your business on the web. We quote them so you can see what customers are being told. We send the assistants facts about your business, never your personal contact details.
We ask before using any optional cookies. Google Analytics is the only optional service on revivedlocal.com, and it stays off until you allow it. You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings. Our Cookie policy lists each cookie, what it is for and how long it lasts.
The Monitor pages we publish for you never load analytics, even if you allowed it, and the customer portal loads no analytics at all.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no to Google Analytics, even if you clicked Accept. Browsers can also send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for how websites should respond to that one, so it does not change what our site does.
The customer portal sets only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and remember which business you are viewing. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages under Stripe's privacy policy.

You can also remove our access to your Google Analytics, Search Console or any other account at any time, from that account's own settings. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Email info@revivedlocal.com from the address we have on file, or call 916-999-5460. We will confirm the request is yours and answer within 45 days. California residents: we do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.
RevivedLocal serves businesses. Our services are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
Our sites use HTTPS. Card details stay with Stripe. The customer portal uses sign-in links instead of passwords, and each customer's data is walled off at the database level, so one customer cannot see another's. Access to customer data is limited to the people doing the work on your account. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change matters to how we use your information, we will email our customers before it takes effect.
